Sub: Books on C++
I’d like to know your opinions about books on C++ (in particular, C++ version
2.0). What books would you recommend for people learning C++? How about
advanced books on C++? Are there books that you would suggest that people NOT
read?
I’ve heard good things about “C++ Primer” by Stanley Lippman and, for more
advanced readers, “Programming in C++” by Dewhurst & Stark. Can any of you
provide more info on these or any of the other C++ books?
I’d also like to hear comments on Apple’s MPW C++ Reference Manual (as included
in the beta version of MPW C++). Do you think it is good enough for the final
version of the product? If not, what would you like to see changed?
I look forward to your feedback. Thanks a lot.

P.S. When sending links to the C++ interest lists, be sure to address them to
BOTH CPlus.Apple$ and CPlus.Dev$. Thanks.
